It is with extreme sadness that Jenny Mae has passed away, she was at the heart and soul of the Columbus, High Street scene during the 1990’s making to wonderful records for Anyway. She made many singles for various labels, and toured extensively playing with and winning fans such as the Palace Brothers, Neko Case, Guided by Voices, Smog, Rocketship, Kelly Hogan and more. She was funny as hell and could drink most truck drivers under the table, she made a marked impression on everyone who met her. A remembrance get together is planned in Columbus, which we will post.
